Good evening, with their new manager installed and a victory at Anfield, Palace will be well up for this one. The bookies fancy them and we need to lift ourselves after Thursday
COME ON YOU IRONSSSSSSSS

The harsh reality is we will be hard pressed to get anything. We will be physically and emotionally drained after Thurs and led by a “dead duck” manager
If he gets us to play the first half like on Thurs we have a chance but suspect it will be Moyesball

i think with a couple of key players back we can get something here. Lets just fucking go for the win we dont have much to lose, at least try and entertain us Moyes!

Let’s see how Snarky Moyes sets us up…
Free flow…Front Foot..
Or low block on our 18 yard line…
He doesn’t really care does he…
Pack up and leave please…

I'd love it if we showed up with the same attitude as Thursday - but it must be hard to maintain that level. Hope we do
Expect a Moyes away type set up - low block, little intent to get forward etc
Same old.
Also Palace are bouyed by recent win, have important players back in their 1st 11 and appear to be in good form.

Paqueta & Emerson back to freshen up the team after missing Thursday Maybe Mavropanos too. Even Cornet Presume Earthy is still in concussion protocols but would have included him as well

We can't start as we did Thursday for reasons clearly demonstrated, namely we will be knackered by half time and have a bench devoid of players who can make a difference. Of course if we got 3/4 up in the first half we ought to be able to hang on to that lead!! .

Palace are safe and have two options - 1. Off the leash and batter us hell-for-leather or, 2. Already on the beach so not give a fuck either way.
Moyes won't have an answer to counter either.

I asked CHAT GPT what team Moyes should pick and what formation should he play.
The answer suggests that our jobs are pretty safe for now.
David Moyes might consider selecting a team and formation that suits West Ham's strengths while also exploiting any weaknesses in Crystal Palace's setup. A common formation for West Ham under Moyes has been a 4-2-3-1, but depending on the available personnel and tactical considerations, he might opt for variations like a 4-3-3 or a 3-4-3. Here's a potential lineup and formation:
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Goalkeeper:
Lukasz Fabianski Defenders: 2. Vladimir Coufal (Right-back)
Issa Diop (Center-back) Kurt Zouma (Center-back) Aaron Cresswell (Left-back) Midfielders: 6. Declan Rice (Defensive midfielder)
Tomas Soucek (Central midfielder) Jarrod Bowen (Right attacking midfielder) Pablo Fornals (Central attacking midfielder) Said Benrahma (Left attacking midfielder) Forward: 11. Michail Antonio (Striker)

When I was in my teens I would go to all the grounds in London whenever I could. Selhurst Park was always a ground full of supporters with woollen hats carrying a bag with a flask of tea in it. These days their supporters seem like a bunch of tossers with their silly songs and bloke with a drum. Mind you the regimented and uniformed supporters of Bayer, who looked to me like a hitler youth jamboree make Palace fans look moderately sane.

Quite a !ist of injuries for today. Earthy is apparently fine but cannot return due to protocol, but Moyes wouldn't play him anyway. Then, late fitness tests we have 5 players. Bowen has 75% chance of playing and plaiafter an injection on Thursday. Mavropanos and Areola have 50% chance. Aguerd and Phillips have 25%.
Fabianski Coufal, Mavropanos, Zouma, Emerson Alvarez Bowen, Paqueta, JWP, Kudus Antonio

Moyes has to take the breaks off for this and all remaining games.
Let the team play the way they are capable, put players in the right positions and win games.
There’s no hedging tactics for other games now we have to maximise points from the last 15
